Job Details:
The RN is a professional registered nurse who functions as a primary nurse and has responsibility and accountability for quality nursing care in assessing, planning, implementing, educating and evaluating a designated group of patients in accordance with all established Hospital Policies & Procedures, and the Nursing Practice Act. The RN''s activities reflect support of medical care as directed by the medical staff and consistent with our mission, values and guiding principles. He/she is responsible for managing supplies, and equipment on the unit and for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Must be a Cardiovascular Recovery Nurse with experience in caring for the immediate open heart patient. Must demonstrate competency with pulmonary artery catheter management, ventilator management/weaning, vasopressor titration, and astute patient assessment skills. Missouri RN license required. Must have BLS and ACLS or be willing to obtain within first 3 months of hire date. Must work weekend and holiday rotation as required.
Candidates must have 2 plus years of current or recent ICU experience.
