Occupational Health LPN or RN - Veeder Health Center/U.S. Steel Granite City Works
The Clinical nurse's primary role is to help manage the flow of patients through the clinic and to deliver quality care to patients presenting to Veeder Health Center US Steel Granite City Works. The position requires timely communication of clinical information, as appropriate, to employers, referring physicians, TPAs/Case Managers, as permitted by law and confidentiality regulations. The Clinical nurse serves as a resource for information regarding infection control procedures, OSHA regulations, Illinois Worker's Compensation Laws, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
Education: Completion of Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse degree from accredited school of nursing. COHN or COHN-S preferred. Possess current Drug Screen (urine & hair) Breath Alcohol (DOT & non-DOT), Pulmonary Function Testing certificates as well as possess a current Certificate in Occupational Health Conservation (CAOHC). Current CPR certification required. Experience: Previous experience in occupational health setting required. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, Illinois Worker's Compensation System, case management and DOT regulations governing drug and alcohol screening required. Knowledge of infection control principles and previous experience with vaccines preferred.
Licenses/Certificates: Active License in State of Illinois, and in good standing
