VIP Valet
VIP Valet is a small valet parking company in St. Louis looking for some qualified candidates looking to make a little extra cash. We are looking for full time and part time people who love working in a team environment. Our company realizes that employees are the key to success, and hope to find 10 to 15 new employees. Our employees average $10/hr Job Functions: - Greet each guest as they arrive with enthusiasm and a smile
- Make sure you open doors for all guests; men and women
- Prior to parking vehicle, quickly check it for damage, dents, scratches, broken glass and document the damage seen on the vehicle ticket
- Safely park the vehicle in the designated valet parking spot or directed by management team, make sure the windows are rolled up, keys are in hand and lock the doors
- Give keys to key attendant
- Assist with transport baggage of arriving/departing guest if necessary
- Retrieve vehicles in a safe and timely manner and open the doors for guests
- Make sure each guest receives a claim ticket and a ticket must be collected upon retrieval of vehicle
- Handle customer interaction, complaints and challenging situations while maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude
Qualifications: - Must perform duties with a sense of urgency
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a courteous and professional manner
- Must present a professional and clean appearance
- No moving violations within the last 2 years
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands: - Must be able to operate manual and automatic automobiles
- Ability to stand, walk, jog/run for extended periods of time according to business demands (minimum of 4 miles per day)
- Ability to work outside, exposed to both hot and cold climates
- Ability to bend, reach, twist and maneuver through crowds
- Ability to tolerate second hand smoke
