REQUIREMENT
Age | Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age. |
Height & Weight | Should be proportionate. |
Education | Must have a high school diploma or a certificate of equivalency. In addition, all applicants hired after July 1, 1996 will possess 30 hours from an accredited college or university. Any applicants not having those hours will have a maximum of 24 months after being commissioned to attain those hours. |
Vision | Minimum of 20/200 correctable to 20/20 with normal color vision |
Citizenship | Must be a citizen of the United States. |
Residence | Must become a resident of the City of St. Louis within ninety (90) days of hire. |
Police Record | No felony convictions or unfavorable police record. |
Driver's License: | Must possess a valid state driver's license |
