Medical Assistant/Receptionist - Primary
St. Anthony's Medical Center

Position Summary: 
To assist the physicians with the examination, procedures and testing of patients in order to provide optimal patient care and to maximize the time of the physician and other providers.   This position will also assist in the processing of patients for registration, appointments and check out.  These tasks must be done in a highly efficient, courteous and professional manner in order to present a very positive image of the practice to both our patients and the community at large, to maximize the time of the providers and to provide optimal patient care.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:  
High school diploma and graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.  Certification by the State of Missouri (Preferred).


Education Requirements:
Minimum three to five years experience in general medical office duties. Strong knowledge of managed care, insurance billings, CPT and ICD-9 coding. Knowledge of MS office including Word and Excel required. Excellent communication skills required.
Typical schedule will be shift times between 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday.
