POSITION SUMMARY:
This person is responsible for performing diagnostic CT scans and reconstruction's for the radiologist and attending physician. Rotates "On Call" responsibilities in order to provide emergency CT service. These CT procedures are performed as ordered by the attending physicians for the benefit of the patient.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must maintain patient confidentiality.
· Must have completed a two year accredited school of radiologic technology and passed the boards as issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Must maintain credentials so as not to expire during term of employment.
· Must have acquired a practical knowledge of CT scanning procedures, either through another institution, a formalized training program, or on the job training here at St. Anthony's Medical Center.
· A positive attitude, the ability to react in emergency situations, and the ability to learn new things quickly are all desired personality attributes.
· Must be personally responsible to obtain required (CEU) hours to maintain registry.

This is a per diem position, so the hours worked per pay period will vary. Must be able to work a variety of shifts and weekend and holiday shifts as required.
