Job Details:
To create and track all patient insurance claims. Respond to account inquires from insurance companies and patients. Input all patient related charges. Responsible for the coordination and oversite of onsite insurance transactions, including follow up and collections to ensure that all requirements are met in order to maximize reimbursement. Work independently, receiving a minimum of detailed supervision.Minimum 3-5 years experience in physician practice environment. Prior medical office billing/coding experience preferred. Strong knowledge of managed care, insurance billings, CPT and ICD 9 coding. Knowledge of MS office including Word and Excel required. High school diploma required.
